Rosolino: "Martinenghi is superb despite unfortunate suspensions and illness. Ceccon is going for the record."

I'm enjoying our expedition to these World Championships. Italy is commanding respect; it's a source of pride. There's quality and consistency. And that goes for the other disciplines, too, from long-distance swimming to diving. Italian swimming is in good shape across the board. The 4x100m is now a phenomenon: no longer a surprise, but a consolidated reality. It's great to see this change, a good sign. From Magnini, Dotto, Miressi to today: there's always someone ready. Not to mention eighteen-year-old Carlos D'Ambrosio: truly strong. He left me with great feelings.
